Evicted Book Critical Essay Samples

Evicted Book Critical Essay SamplesEvicted is a new book by Stephen Chbosky. This is the first book in the ongoing series, entitled, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.' You will learn much about human nature and how we are all caught up in the whirlwind of stress. The book has been compared to the highly popular novel that is the Brat series. I must admit that I am not a huge fan of either of these books, but they do share the same premise, being an alternate reality and a high school teen life that are full of ups and downs. The reason that I made this comparison is that I did not really know what to expect from Evicted and Brat. After reading the two books, I did enjoy the first book so much that I purchased the second one.Evicted takes place in the Pacific Northwest, where a young boy goes missing. A couple of local people find a picture of the boy in the trash. They call the police, but the child does not come home. When the child is found, he does not have any identification on hi m, which makes them wonder where he is from. They finally manage to find out where he lives with his mother, but the police want the family to give them the address of the parents because they suspect that the mother may be with child. The next day, they come to the door of the parents who have just delivered their son. A police officer tells them that they need to take down the house for child abuse. When the family gets there, they find that the police officer has called the parents and has them sign a waiver allowing them to see the child, but they are unable to get there. What is worse is that the parents come back to the house when they discover that the police tried to force them to sign the waiver and there is a live news report on the television about the case. The family then starts to believe that they were falsely accused and is suspicious of the police officers and the news. The next day, the family goes to the home and finds that the child is in fact with the mother. Ther e is also the mysterious disappearance of the wife of the father. There is even an extra-marital affair going on and things start to fall apart for the family. When all of these circumstances start to unfold, it will make you realize that Evicted could be a very dark and twisted story. This book contains many critical essay samples that I did not know existed before I read the book. As a critical essayist, I think that it is great to read about other people's essays and their thinking processes. While reading the essays that the author provided, I was very intrigued by the writings and style that he uses in the essays. As for the academic aspects of the essays, I have to say that I was quite impressed with the number of critical essay samples that were provided in the book. That is why I feel that he should be more than given the honor of writing such a wonderful book. All of the samples were written in a very easy to understand and articulate manner.Overall, I was very happy that I p urchased this book. It is a fast paced and fun read that gives you a fresh perspective on life and people. I can't wait for the next book in the series, 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower.'
